Hey I'm Benji
A freediver, designer, and adventurer who likes to document the interconnectedness of our coastal landscapes.
I often document in the lands and waters of communities who have spent thousands of years continuously nurturing these spaces. However, due to the compounding effects of climate change, industrialization, and globalization, many of the once biodiverse and ecologically resilient landscapes around the globe have a hard time supporting the rich lifeways they once did. I try to use my photos as a tool to both deepen my own relationship with place and to encourage others to do the same.
The Documentation
I take photos to document changes to the landscape however, there are many organization committed to nurturing these same landscapes as they change. My photos are in support of the ongoing efforts to steward our planet towards biodiversity and resiliency.
